WFR Certification in Moab, UT: 5-Day Wilderness First Responder Hybrid Course [April 7-11, 2025]
This course covers the same material and meets the same criteria as the standard 7-Day Wilderness First Responder course. It is designed for students and professionals with tight schedules and the self-discipline to complete approximately 25 hours of pre-course preparation. The 5-Day course format is ideal for motivated, independent learners. Conscientious preparation is essential for success. This is not a short-cut version of our standard course.
Please arrive in Moab by the evening of April 6 to be prepared to start class the morning of April 7th. Our optional on-site camping fee includes the nights of April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10; checkout is on the 11th.
Eligible students who successfully complete the course will receive Wilderness Medical Associates International’s Wilderness First Responder, Anaphylaxis, and Healthcare Provider level CPR certifications. The CPR course is based on the ILCOR/AHA guidelines as published in Circulation in November 2005. All WMAI certifications remain valid for three years.
Upon enrolling, you will have access to an e-textbook and all the pre-course work materials. A text book can be mailed to you for an additional $15 for postage. Students should complete the assigned reading, case studies, study guide, and tests prior to the on-site class.
